Welcome to the website of dulcimer music Jánoš. Our dulcimer band was founded in 2003, when a few students of local secondary schools from Wallachia met for the first time to start playing for their pleasure and amusement. Our dulcimer ensemble is particularly concerned with interpretation of folk music from Wallachia, Moravia, Bohemia and Slovakia. A part of our repertoire also consists of a number of world evergreens.
Our offer:
• Performing at private events (weddings, celebrations, feasts etc.)
• Performing at public events (company parties, balls, banquets, festivals etc.)
• A demonstration of traditional folk dances and customs
• Performing on a solo violin with acoustic accompaniment
• Performing along with recorded music (dulcimer music + DJ…)
• Arranging music performances with accompanying programme „turnkey“ (wine-tasting, felling of May pole, thematic parties etc.)
• A demonstration of playing the unconventional folk musical instruments
• Arranging complete events (arrangements of professional technical equipment, interpreters, anchormen, banquets…)
• The distribution of CD (dulcimer music)
